Local Mafia

My failed Mafia group on the naffy but entertaining chat room Habbo Hotel. I decided to quit it the day before everyone got paid for their services. The Local Mafia used to gain rights to rooms then trash them and leave sticky note with the phrase "You've been had by the Local Mafia". Then I went bankrupt. The gift shop didn't exactly boost sales either. Oh well.

Ah, the good ol' failed Mafia.

Loyalty

Loyalty is basically the word "investment" but with an opinion or point of view attached.

Loyalty is treated like a virtue, but it can't inherently be one, by itself. Case in point: People in hate groups are very loyal. So is someone with Stockholm Syndrome.

Investing your time and energy in a person or idea, over time...is a completely neutral act without a who, what or why attached.

Loyalty is such a dubious, perspective based word. It's right up there with "honor". Other virtues like love and honesty, are intrinsically valuable even if you love or are honest with the wrong person. This is not the case with loyalty. Being loyal to the wrong people is often based on fear, codependence, or the "birds of a feather" principle.

Local Dick

When a woman, one that frequently travels from one town to another, only communicates with a man in the town she is currently in. She may have established a calm standing relationship with you but whenever she leaves town, she is talking to another dude that is within her 30 mile radius. She may often disconnect from intimate conversation with you because it would seem pointless to do so when she is a long distance away from you. However, she will pick up where she left off when she returns to your locality.

Example 1: Chris: "Dude. I'm talking to this girl that used to live here, but now she went off to college and only hits me up when she's in town visiting her parents. We fucked and she left me hanging."

Ryan: "Bruh, she only wants local dick."

Example 2: Chris: "Hey Sam, what do you have planned for today? I was thinking we could hit the lake and then chill at my house."

Samantha, upon leaving town: N/A

3 months later...

Samantha: "Hey Chris, what's up? :)"

Chris: "Come back for some local dick? :|"
