A term used to describe an individuals personal identity, that means the person supports the feminism movement. A modern feminist is someone who wants to ensure equal rights and opportunities to people regardless of gender or sex. Feminists are calling to eliminate rape culture, victim blaming, discrimination, general misogyny and sexism. Some feminists want to dismantle or deconstruct the patriarchy of generational expectations which has oppressed people of all genders since it was established. Feminists do not hate men, they hate the system that white men originally created, and has made society pressured as a whole to follow these harmful expectations.
