But these early TV's were not without drawbacks, being initially named the "poop soup killer" as when the Cholera TV first came out people were so shocked they literally shit themselves to death en masse. The people left behind were so preoccupied with their motionless picture Cholera TV's they hardly had time to dig mass graves for their friends and comrades.

The random nature of Cholera TV poisoning is also where the phrase "shit out of luck" came from.
