Stealing something from somebody (including a show) who would gladly give somebody something doesn't seem like an action with a lot of honor in it. Being indirect about it instead of straightforward makes somebody more of a liar than a thief.
They would've given him/her the show, as it said to do in the script, but he/she still insisted on a coup to steal the show. Stealing the show had always been his/her true intention, to get the best of any of the other guy there was.

well, to really understand the depth of this so called, “pizzot show”, we need to truly understand the key word pizzot. Pizzot is a word/phrase used to express an action, feeling, or a response. The Pizzot Show was created to channel all of your inner pizzot. Right? And now, dont forget, pizzot can virtually mean anything. So if you were to say “lets go to the pizzot show!” this can mean a multiple number of things. Pizzot show can be your favorite reaustraunt, store, etc.. but, it can also be a place where you feel discomfort, uneasy, or somewhere you simply dont want to be i.e.: school

A TV series or movie that's suitable to have on in the background while you're on your phone. Media that doesn't warrant all of your attention.
Ex 1: Mom loves Friends but for me it's just a phone show.
Ex 2: Star Trek Voyager is such a good phone show to have on while I work.

To take a person to the sheep show is to fool them, to take advantage of their ignorance, to pull the wool over their eyes.
"Dude, you bought a Lexus and the salesman talked you into buying the undercoating?? That guy took you to the sheep show!"
