Swedish 1,000 yard stare syndrome

The Swedish 1,000-yard stare syndrome is developed when a mentally stable person is exposed to an individual with an extra chromosome for a long period until their mental mind combusts into flames. Upon this full mental death, they do a 1,000-yard stare into oblivion for 24 hours straight until they die from a lack of oxygen.
'Hey bro, did you hear what happened to Mark last week?'
'Yeah, he got Swedish 1,000 yard stare syndrome'

yard-yo

The slightly-disgusted/irritated verbal "I'm over here" (Goobah-brain/Numb-nutz optional) attention-getter that you call to a seemingly-tunnel-visioned visitor who has obliviously walked right past you on his way to knock on the front door of your house, never noticing that you were sortin' fasteners or paintin' up buoys in da tool-shed less than twenty feet away.
There are so many absurdly-unaware people in dis here town; I almost always have to give a yard-yo if I'm outdoors when one of those dim-minded blokes comes a-knocking.

yard sale

A weekend cash-raising event where either you are selling strips of sod from your front lawn, or all the items for sale are three feet long.
I was gonna widen the asphalt parking-area in front of my house, so I carefully cut the grassy sod into easy-to-manage three-foot-long strips, neatly rolled it up and bagged it, and then held a yard sale.
