Metropolis; the biggest city in the United States and one of the biggest cities in the world. The financial and economic capital of the United States and the Western Hemisphere. Like any other city, whether its visible on the surface or not, there's crime, poverty and excess in New York City, alongside some of the wealthiest people in the world. It differs from other cities in the US in that the cityscape is more of a contiguous metropolis than Los Angeles, Boston or Chicago. Residents are (surprise surpise) very proud of their city; they have a reputation for being rude, arrogant and boisterous but it is a stereotype that doesn't hold true in every circumstance.
New Yorker: Yeah NYC is the greatest city in the entire fuckin' world and dont you fuggetit
Me: Yeah I was in New York City in 2003 and I was flying out of Newark and the sky above NYC was green
New Yorker: Yeah but its a real city
Me: K, whatever

Get the grand theft auto vice city mug.A tiny little town on the outskirts of Fairfiled CA, Surrounded by Grizzly Island. Thanks to the nightly breeze, and the hot temperatures in the summer, citizens have grown comfortable with the rich (but rather pungent) smell of the Budweiser Factory. Another smell citizens have become accustomed to is the rising and lowering of the marshland water, which can only be simular to the smell of barbequed baby diapers. The town has been struggling to keep up appearances and attempting to keep down crime rates during economic struggle. Suisun is a quickly growing city, however, seems every month a new gas station or fast food chain is moving in. Walmart has also tried to move in a superstore location (with much public controversy). Downtown Suisun, is Truly the highlight of the small no-where town. With a nice new view of the Suisun Slough from the newly updated walkways and grassy benches. With its charming and rather vintage neighboroods, and unique dining selection more and more people find themselves going to the historical waterfront. Suisun dates all the way back to the mid 1800's, and it is easy to see why it is still thriving.

Get the Suisun City mug.Slang nickname given to Sioux City, IA. So called because of the rancid smell associated with the city. The bad smell is particularly noticible to non-inhabitants who happen to be driving through Sioux City on I-29.

Get the The City mug.Yes, we may only be two square miles in size, but our population exceeds 10,000 and it takes approximately 10-15 minutes to get from one side of town to the other, depending on traffic. Nonetheless, we are the city where, literally, everybody knows your name. You grew up with the same kids, you know everyone's past; who they've dated, what grade they received on their last test, what street they live on and how many dogs their family owns. Our only high school is George Mason (not to be confused with George Mason University), and is one of the highest ranked in the country; despite being public, the typical graduating class is below 200. When asked where you live, DC is the most accurate response, seeing as we are 7 miles from the Nation's Capital...saying Northern Virginia simply doesn't do it justice (a commonly abused and over-used phrase). We know what the Metro is, and we use it too. Liberal, diverse (in our acceptance of all cultures), filled with opportunity, what's not to love? You are 5 minutes away, both directions, from anything and everything you need. It's fabulous, I love it, and I couldn't imagine growing up anywhere other than Falls Church, the city I call home.
Person A: Where are you From?
FCC Resident: Northern Virginia
Person A: Me too! I'm From Manassas.
FCC Resident: I'm 7 minutes away from DC...and I don't have a southern accent!
