Get your napkins ready

A phrase that is used to insinuate being prepared for a certain event or activity.

This colloquial phrase is derived from the root of eating - where one must have "their napkins ready" as if they are having a meal. Therefore, having one's napkin ready means they will be adequately prepared for the event and/or activity (e.g. having a round of drinks, entering a club or bar, playing a sport, engaging in sexual activity, etc)

"You better get your napkins ready nigga, it's about to be an ass buffet."

"Oh my God, fuckin you see that fool pass out on the couch hahahaha"
"Yea nigga, he didn't have his napkins ready"

"Fuck man, you got a Costco card? I need to get some of them Kirkland paper towels. I'm finna go to the club and grind on every piece of pussy."
