In movies and film, the tendency of the hero's shots to hit more, and the enemy's to hit less. Summarized as:

1. The more outnumbered the heroes are, the more the enemies will miss.
2. The more impossible and desperate the shot, the more likely it will hit.

Watch Star Wars IV: A New Hope. The stormtroopers really can't hit the broad side of a barn, can they?

Gimli in Lord of the Rings III: Return of the King:

Lolita Effect

The Lolita Effect is the sexualization of young girls and projecting girls as sex objects before they have even reached puberty and are sexualized beings. It is perpetuated by the media. The title comes from the book Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov.

The Lolita effect is a 5 year old wearing padded bras or high heels, items which are used to perpetuate sexuality in adult women.

Technically, an "electronic federation". A online community of roleplayers who write competitive role plays based on professional wrestling matches. These RPs are then judged, and the participent wit the higher quality RP is decided to be the winner. The event is then written as a wrestling program with the winning characters written as the victors. Other features include segments to enhance the characters' presence, and angles used to show interaction between participents.

A term used to describe a person who mysteriously gets hotter the longer you look at her / him. Not to be confused with beer goggles, as no alcohol is involved with the Tina Fey Effect.

Man, the Tina Fey Effect is definitely making that blonde in the corner look better the closer we get to closing time.
