1. Also known as an obu (oh-boo), is a nomadic cosplaying merchant that sells anime, manga, and other asain related merch, or items with a nostalgic aesthetic (swag). They tend to dress up as their an unique cosplay or original character. Selling mainly to gamers, weeabus, and, or otakus.

2. In Western lamens terminology, it is the combination of the otaku and weeabu. It's one who has a balanced healthy obsession fore a skill or hobby and have a job unlike their weeaboo prediscesor. Though Primarily interested in the weeaboo cringe culture and stereotype, which they tend to find fascinating and embrace. Drawing inspiration from these degenerates which they admire to an extent.

Otaku Funk

The pungent smell when multiple hardcore anime fans or "otaku/weaboo" have gathered. This is mostly due to lack of proper hygiene.

I stopped going to anime conventions because of the Otaku Funk.

1. He who stands above otaku / wapanese by knowing more and owning more, and who distincts himself by having social skills and leaving the house. Has the same type of obsession as wapanese but knows sanity limits.

Japanese word meaning obsessive fan of anything.Somewhat derogatory meaning that you put your interest above all else. Westerners tend to use it without the derogatory connotations. Rather, an otaku is someone who is a dedicated fan of anime and/or manga.

Otay

A blue collar neighborhood located in southwest Chula Vista, California. The community of Otay was incorporated into the city of Chula Vista in the mid 1980's-which explains why the neighborhoods gangs (Varrio Loco Otay, River Bottom Locos, and Rasta Locos) claim South San Diego instead of Chula Vista. Otay is one of the oldest Barrios in San Diego County.

Everybody knows that vatos from Otay, and vatos from Varrio Chula Vista, don't get along.
