When a brand becomes so synonymous with a certain product that it replaces the product name itself

You know how no matter the brand of tissue, you call it a Kleenex? This is an example of the Kleenex effect

kleenex cocktail

The instance in which a man (or men) sneeze and ejaculate into a tissue in no particular order and place the tissue into a stranger's alcoholic drink, to therefore create the Kleenex Cocktail.

Bill: "Yo I've got this used tissue here."
Mike: "Alright gimme a few seconds and well have a Kleenex Cocktail." <enters bathroom>
Bill: "Put it in Tommy's 40!"

Amish Kleenex

The practice of holding one nostril while simultaneously blowing out the other. You would usually lean over or away from your body so as not to blow snot all over yourself.

This saves one from nastying up one's sleeve(s). Since the Amish live a simple life they wouldn't have fancy store bought Kleenex.

"Dad's allergies were bothering him so bad while we were hiking he had to use the Amish Kleenex."

"I sneezed so much I used up all my tissues and had to use the ol' Amish Kleenex"

"I had to resort to the Amish Kleenex since it was Summer and I was sleeveless."
