Fundamentalism

It's not the religion that's the problem... It's the NOT CHANGING THE RELIGION... To fit modern liberal social sentiment like... The religion is fine so long as there aren't any gender roles and you're not condemnatory of the gays and women are allowed to do whatever they want and are =>Men and NEVER THE OTHER WAY AROUND..... Then, yeah, no the religion is great.

Hym "The fundamentalism! It's the looking at the words in the book... And NOT REINTERPRETING THEM... And accepting the assertions about morality that have supposedly posited by God... THAT is the problem... Otherwise it's great! I can use the authority of God to make people love and accept and not hurt me no matter what I do- Uh, I mean.. PEOPLE... You can use God to make people accept PEOPLE regardless of what they do and then BAM! Religion is fine now! You just have to carve out all of the parts I don't like! See? Then it's fine! Because obviously no one should be allowed to hate me, right? It's not like I'm some kind of manipulative, authoritarian pieces of shit that wants my own personal values deified and won't accept the validity of a religion that doesn't do exactly that! Right?"
