Alot of people have their own version of what it is to be a thug. 2pac has his own but from his music and even they way he behaves isn't a good example despite the fact he says a thug is someone who's had it hard and became something. Young people are going to mimick him no matter what he does, this is the same guy who spat at the press, so what message are you sending to your fans and what a thug is. Spitting, saying fuck new york, fuck biggie, that's why i fucked yo bitch you fat muthafucka. 2pac was crazy, you can like his songs but dont worship the songwriter, they are human just like you. A thug and I'm being real is what it sounds like, a robber, a crook, a drug dealer, conniving, scum, a petty murderer. The word orginated in India which means a bunch of robbers from india who strangled their victims. Now rap music has gave it a whole new meaning, people are automatically thugs just because they smoke weed and their from the hood or just cause their in a gang, or just cause they sell drugs even though the might say not say it directly because the rappers are perceived as thugs so what ever they do is thug shit to young people. In their mind a thug is someone who has bitches, can smoke purple to the head, wears conrows, shot people who disrespect them which could be in the form of a reality check, Mimicking this fake thug mentality will get you an early grave or jail guranteed.
