Shemanita is a woman who is overlooked. Her name might seem messed up, but that doesn't define her. She is beautiful and hardworking, and couldn't be complete without her dimples. She loves reading, spelling, and bragging about her vocabulary. She loves justice, and can sometimes be a math whiz. Her temper is short, but she will always come back and apologize. She always puts her kids and family before herself. Watch out, because she is a Karen.

Person: Hey! Shemanita, have you gone back to school to work on that law degree?
Shemanita: Not yet! I have to finish raising these kiddos!

Sherman, TX

A small Texas town 60 miles north of Dallas, also known to locals as Shertown. Home of the Austin College Roos and the Sherman Bearcats. Void of any fun activities. Wal-mart is the hang-out place for the average teenager. Really friendly people who speak hick including words such as "fixin' to" and "wersh" (wash). Outcasts include people of other races, people without Myspace pages, and people who wear anything other than a t-shirt and American Eagle jeans. About seventy-eight percent of people raised in Sherman are stuck there the rest of their lives. See S&S Consolidated.

Well Earl, today I waz gonna drive up to Sherman, TX, to get that there feed Jay promised me. But I done got pulled over by that dadgum Johhny Law that patrols that one highway, and did you know...those them lights are so bright, I near wrecked tryin' to pull over for him.

Sherman

A slang term for illegal hallucinogenic mushrooms (aka "shrooms" or "magic mushrooms"). Often used as a code word for telephone conversations or conversations in public settings where talk of illegal activities could get one in trouble.

In such conversations Sherman is often referred to as a person, such as saying "is Sherman around?" to ask a dealer if he/she currently has any shrooms available for purchase.

I was chillin with Sherman the other night. I saw some crazy colors and it was like the walls were breathing!!

Sherman IL

Sherman is a large town just outside of Springfield, the state of Illinois capitol. It has about 20 subdivisons all spread out and seem to expand forever. Sherman blvd is where most activity is. It consist of the clinic, the Crossing Strip Mall, Larson's Plaza, Dairy Queen, Williamsville State Bank, Family Video, Town Hall, and the newest adition, a Walgreens. The town is hopeing to add a County Market which will have other businesses like FitClub and China Star. The town attends Williamsville School District.
