Cake Retention Syndrome

Otherwise known as KIPLINGITIS. The body compulsively attracts all cake within a mile radius and stores it in special grease pouches developed in the stomach, buttocks, thighs, bingo wings and ankles. Vanessa Feltz is a celebrity sufferer of this condition. Indeed, such is her ability to retain mountains of cake that her name has been lent to the more acute form of the disease known as FELTZISM (See FAT FUCKS IN THE MEDIA).

rodent

A noisy or otherwise annoying child. The term is similar to 'rug rat' or 'yard ape' but is intended to be purely derogatory and not in the least affectionate.

Background? I've been using the term for years, but not sure if I invented it or picked it up from somewhere else...

Some screeching rodent ruined the movie for me.

rodent tendancies

"Rodent" is a term in itself that is much the same as "Rat", a term to describe someone who's behaviour is sneaky and likely to be connected with the underhand seduction of a potential shag. Except "Rodent" is a stronger derogatory description than "Rat". "Rodent tendancies" is a blanket description of the traits associated with the behavior of a rat/rodent.

You can tell Dean Boyle is a rat bastard because he has rodent tendancies.

Phil Dixon pretends to be a gentleman in front of the ladies, but his rodent tendancies are clear to the rest of us.

Paul Firth was displaying rodent tendancies when he was chatting up that minger last night. Rat.

I've got nothing against Jon Storer, but i'd be lying if i said he didn't have notorious rodent tendancies.

anally retentive

Uptight, stubborn.

Usage Note: You might like to think you're ascribing some sort of diagnosis to a person when you describe him as "anally retentive", but it doesn't mean anything in a psychiatric sense. It sounds professional, but it's merely a disguised way to insult someone.

"Bob's always been that nitpicky. I think he's anally retentive."
