1. A common response when getting a text from an unknown number. Can be used even if your phone isn't new.
2. Using the above tactic to belittle someone you do, in fact, know.
3. A title of a diss track from an episode of You're The Worst.

"i'm pregnant"

"Did you see last night's You're The Worst? My favorite part was when Sam rapped 'new phone who is.'"

Behavior that is associated with cell phone users. Symptoms noted are talking aimlessly about nothing when conversing live with another person, deathlike appearance, selfishishness, delusions of grendeur, bleeding mouth syndrome, incurable diarhhea of the brain, "I'm so beautiful" syndrome, and "My life is so way important can't you see" syndrome.

Vrin: What happened to Sally Sue. She's in a nursing home.
Jadu: Why?
Vrin: She was permanently committed by society because of her cell phone behavior. Doc took away her cell phone. She's in restraints now and had her mouth permanently sewn shut.

During a conversation on the phone, it is the act of simulating a "High 5" by pressing '5' on the keypad at the appropriate moment.

Joe: So where did you go with that girl last night?
Moe: Back to my place.

Slapping a cell phone as though giving a high five, usually preceded by yelling "PHONE FIVE!" and used primarily when excited.

Barney: Ted, tonight we're gonna go out, we're gonne meet some ladies, it's gonna be legendary. Phone five!
