ex-gay for pay

A term coined by gay activist and author Wayne Besen to bring attention to the trend that those who profess to have been "cured" of their homosexuality often make their livelihood doing so. Once an individual has built a livelihood around claiming they've gone from gay to straight, should that person ever come to the realization they infact have NOT changed, they are far less likely to admit it for financial reasons.

Most major ex-gay organizations are headed by individuals who often make wild claims about going from totally gay to totally straight while lower ranked employees tend to profess less dramatic stories.

John Paulk who served on Focus On The Family's board of directors and appeared on the cover of Newsweek was very much ex-gay for pay until he was caught in a gay bar in Washington DC.

A phrase that is used mostly by heterosexual couples to profess their love/ sexual attraction for each other at that moment.

It is sometimes used ironically between two straight guys to show gratitude for a thoughtful gesture.

(Man and Woman looking lovingly into each other's eyes) Woman: I am so gay for you right now.

Guy #1: Hey bro, I brought a two four for us to have while we watch the game

Guy #2 (deeply touched): ...dude... I am so gay for you right now....

1. when a guy is literally is gay for another guy.

2. when a guy claims to be just friends with a girl so he either likes her in that way or he is just friends with her. therefore he is gay or he is genius with the ladies

1. Friend 1: "dude me and john hang out everywhere."

Friend 2: "dude, you're gay for him."

Friend 1: "What? I'm not gay!"

Friend 2: "Well you're being gay for someone right now..."

2. Friend 1: "I swear, me and Nisha are just friends"

Friend 2: "dude you can't just be friends. that's a gay relationship"

Friend 1: "Are you saying I'm gay for her?? I'm not being gay for someone!"
