A phrase used by American Indians as 1) A sound noting a joke or 2) A noise stretched out for no reason. (Said just like the Canadian "ey.")

A) Hey man, your mom's kinda cute and I'd-eyyyy!

B) Eeeeeeeeeey!

Ey basically means calm down or when someone gets 'hyped' or if one of your friends is talking to a person they like and you say ey to let them know you see what they're doing.

Person A: He said hi to me oh my god I'm gonna have a bitch fit!!!
Person B: Eyy, calm down.

Also, unbelievably surprising; used to indicate content, satisfaction, astonishment, and of course, GAIETY

ey wunnuh pesh?

a giant african approaches you at a seedy party with seedy intentions. he grabs your arm and, with a seedy glint in his eye, he says," ey". he nods his gangster hoodie in your direction and continues," wunnuh pesh?" you then run away laughing until you wee yourself.

you can use this in any situation, e.g. when taking the mickey outa old striddy, when tuning a hottie at a pulse or bluelight or, when giving an impression of a gangster from inala.
