dundaruns

From the latin root words "dundus" "rundus" - most accurately, the act of stealing another's basketball and booting it as far as possible therein bringing the game, or "run" to an unwelcomed end. This act of booting is usually accompanied by a spirited chant of the words "DUNDARUNS!" Dundarunning usually is done to communicate a message of superiority or general dominance over an inferior or "foul pitany". The term has evolved in colloquial use to a more general application outside the realm of "ball-booting" to signify the conclusion or finality of an event - e.g. "the movie is dundaruns".

"the movie is dundaruns" - "dundaruns on the beer" - "5 more pages and I'm dundaruns" - "as soon as i saw the competition I knew I was dundaruns" - or, simply "DUNDARUNS!"

Dubarry's

Tall leather wellington boots with Gore-Tex inner manufactured by the same Irish company who make dubes deck shoes. The Dubarry's (leather wellingtons) are more prevelant in the UK than in Ireland and while still a status symbol and commonly worn by sloane Rangers these boots are also widely worn by real country folk, horse people and even some chavs.

Sloan Ranger usage: Darling, did I leave my Dubarry's in the back of your Range Rover, there's a puddle outside Oriels?

Common Coloq Usage (UK): Where the f***k's me Duubries - it's pissing cats and dogs out ere and there's mud up to me fanny!

dungarews

A portmanteau of dungarees and ew, a common term showing disgust; often used to describe very hideously ugly jeans. Also and more commonly, spelled "dungaroos".

My mother asked me to try on 3 pairs of new jeans. I reluctantly tried on the first two but blatantly dismissed the third one saying "Mom are you fuckin' kidding me right now, I ain't trying on no broke-ass pair of dungarews!"

Adult dunkaroos (ADRs)

Being a legal adult (over the age of majority, 18) and preparing one’s own icing of preference (i.e. buttercream, chocolate, etc.) and proceeding to dip cookies (i.e. animal crackers, graham crackers, etc.) in said icing to consume.

“I have a sweet tooth and am feeling nostalgic. Feeling something with this leftover icing and cookies, maybe.”
“Make some adult dunkaroos (ADRs)!!”
