The incorrect term for the under-appreciated genre known as Drone Doom. Quite probably some of the most atmospheric music in metal today, it features minimalistic riffs and sounds to paint a picture in your mind. The lyrics deal with abstract concepts, but usually are melancholic as a whole.

The correct term for drone metal is "drone doom," as our "Deathfuckingmetal" dumbass doesn't seem to know.

Drone Parenting

The act of parenting in a manner in which you are so far up your own kid's ass that you lose your identity, or ability to function in a reasonable, rational and otherwise non-destructive way.

I used to worry about being supportive of my kid, but then I saw Christy and her drone parenting style - I'm alright letting little Jonny entertain himself a while.

Combination of the word "done" and the suffix "-ville". It means tired and fed up of something to the point that one can't take it anymore and doesn't want to think about anything. It could refer to being exhausted physically, mentally, or both.

Situation 1:

Dude 1: Yo buddy, what do you wanna do after basketball?
Dude 2: Yo man, I don't wanna do anything. I just wanna rest. I'm donesville.

Situation 2:

Employee 1: Hey man, how's it going?
Employee 2: I don't know man, I am sick and tired of work, life, everything. I'm donesville yo.

drone

drone(n): A drone is someone who follows an ideology or some other form of idealization blindlessly and uncritically.

The nouns original meaning is used in context with "social" insects, which are ordered into a hive structure. In an insect hive, drones are the workers - the ones gathering food, building the hive - in short: maintaining the hive, controlled by the queen, if not by some common instinctual fellowship and hierarchal order.

You're all a bunch of music industry drones.

PR Drone

A good looking, well dressed, but fairly dim - and usually female - person who works in a marketing or PR department, obsessed with such useless concepts as "branding" and "synergy".
