Calgary Transit

To afflict unnecessary pain. To kick someone when they are down.

In 2009, Calgary Transit introduced a parking charge that effectively raised the cost to use public transit by over 70%. This was done during the worst economic times the city had seen in almost a century.

1) After Joey fell and knocked himself out, I totally pulled a Calgary Transit and took his wallet.

2) The day my room mate told me he lost his job, I CT'd for the $50 he owed me.

University of Calgary

A Canadian University with an extremely large campus but low student enrolment. Its low enrolment is mainly due to the aging ugly, run-down buildings that are still on campus since the 1950s. Namely the Buildings that house the Schulich School of Engineering.

I know Calgary is a great city in Canada but seriously...this University (i.e. the University of Calgary) is old and not fit for humans to be inside.
