Get the Low Budget Allstar mug.A tiny hick-town in Ontario Canada, relatively close to Barrie. Known only for being the birthplace of Sir Fredrick Banting, having a Honda plant, and growing Potatoes... quite sad really.
Alliston is full of wanna-be gangstas/skaters/emos, etc. and preppy/slutty kids. There is nothing to do in Alliston if you are between the ages of 5 and 35.
The high-light of the year is the annual Potato Festival; affectionately nick-named "Pot-fest" by the local teenagers... that's basically what it's turned into.
Avoid being in Alliston for more than 24 hours... you can practically feel yourself getting more hick by the second.

The term itself, comprised of the juxtaposition of two separate instances of online gaming terminology, will only be found in the upper echelons of the competitive online gaming communtiy.
The word "Pub," not to be confused with a residence wherein alcoholic beverages are sold, is an abbreviation of the word "Public." This is a direct reference to Public gaming servers, i.e. gaming servers that are open for any member of the public to join and leave freely. One can now see how the term "pub" found its way into "pub allstar", as it is only in Public servers that the pub allstar excelles, not in real matches.

Get the pub allstar mug.Allentown is not predominately 'white'. As per an article in The Morning Call, the major race is Hispanic (mainly Puerto Rican) at approximately 91%. And according to a recent 'street' survey while serving an 18 month sentence at Lehigh County Prison, located in the heart of Allentown on 4th and Hamilton Streets, Allentown is 87% made of of 'rats' or more specifically, 'confidential informants'. It is a heavily drug-ridden area, mostly serving heroin and crack cocaine. They are in the process of building a multiplex Hockey Arena on 7th & Hamilton, in what most call the 'Belly of the Beast' where MOST of the drug crime occurs. There is a mass amount of prostitution, homelessness and a heavily-used and populated bus station operated by LANTA Bus Lines that houses hundreds of drug addicts and homeless individuals scouring the open spaces asking for money and using the extremely dirty and soiled restrooms in the Dunkin Donuts facility within the terminal, to use their drug of choice.
It is NOT a great place to raise children. The schools are completely dangerous and the city is completely taken over by Latin Kings Gang and various other little street gangs; for example, each and every street has a gang.
I hope that you have made up your mind about moving there or even visiting (passing through) in fear of possibly getting carjacked. Also, if you currently LIVE there, then this should be a reminder and a warning, maybe it's time to find another place to sleep at night.
