It is severe psychological control and intimidation exerted by a party who is no longer physically present in the victim’s daily life, yet maintains a dominant influence through total silence, the blocking of all communication, and the weaponisation of fear. Unlike traditional bullying, it is the 'bullying of the void'—using a tactical blackout to cause mental distress to parents and children.
