Sometimes a friend is so much like their friend that it’s like another wonder of the world.
Examples:
-Doesn’t like to talk on the phone
-Their favorite book trilogy is the same one you’ve read three times
-Sometimes (maybe often) they can be too hard on themselves (like their friend who’s like them)
-Yes, they too had a paper route when they were 12 AND detasseled corn (in a totally deferent state)
-Reads a book you recommend and loves it…then reads another friend-recommended book and doesn’t like it…and tells you.
Both are priceless.
-A friend will do the work that no one else even thinks to do (even when they are busy) to honor a friend’s creativity.
That’s at least a small part of what a friend is. I hope that I am as good a friend as this.
