An insulting phrase that people use if they are annoyed with others. It is also the title of the first song from Ariana Grande's album Positions. Joe Biden said "Will you shut up man" to Donald Trump when the latter kept interrupting him.

SHUT UP means that someone is judging you for something and they will not close their mouth. You then reach the point where you 1. Whap them on the head with the device your holding, 2. Yell "SHUT UP" or 3. Scream at them "YOU DARE OPPOSE ME MORTAL?!" and then punch a hole in the wall and throw them into da trash qwq!

Shut up will most likely be used when someone is angry,mad,or sad with you. you might wanna tell them that back if it isn’t your parents because they would kill you.lol. Or say something like “I’m not a mirror” if their the one telling you shut up. Byeee.
“Shut up.” it can be used when someone is angry,sad,mad,basically a lot of emotions. Can be funny sometimes.
