the shoes that inspired the song "My A.D.I.D.A.S.", a 1980's version of "Air Force Ones"; written and performed by the members of Run DMC, making A.D.I.D.A.S. the most popular shoe of 1986 and beyond (until other shoes took over, of course). The song also made this style of shoes with no laces popular.
