Bufty

A person who does nothing but play sport, eat and sleep sport. English equivalent of an American jock but doesn't beat up people. Usually wears expensive clothes made by Fred Perry, Ben Sherman, Ralph Lauren and any other sports brand.

Person 1: "Shall we go and watch TV in the commen room."
Person 2: "No, the Bufty's are watching football in their."

An expression which conveys one of many reactions to a situation/person/conversation, including, but not limited to, displeasure, humor, superiority, disgust or sarcasm.

May also be spelled brt (typical during internet/text conversation).

A: ZOMG, I had to wait in line for four hours, but I bought 'Twilight' on DVD!

B: BURT!;

Jessica: I didn't know tuna and chicken weren't, like, different...

John: HAH-burt;

etc etc.

bartymoe

Trick frequently played by Bart Simpson in The Simpsons in which he calls up Moe's Tavern and asks Moe for someone whose name is a double entendre. Bart sneaks it past him by giving Moe the person's alleged surname first. (Funniest example is when he gets Moe to ask for a Hugh Jass ... and someone else takes the phone ...,)

Bart (on phone to Moe's): Hello, I'm looking for someone called Hugginkiss, first name Amanda?
Moe (into tavern): Hey, do we have Amanda Hugginkiss? I'm looking for Amanda Hugginkiss!
(Bart and the customers roll on the floor laughing, while Moe fumes.)

I played a bartymoe on the girl in Larry's Bar, the other day. She was so stupid it actually worked.

A single eyebrow, linked by hair over the nose between what in most people are two separate eyebrows. Named in honor of Burt from Sesame Street who has a unibrow!

"Bro, do you have a lawn mower?"
