hardcore dancing

Also known as spin-kick moshing. It is the incoherent flailing of one's limbs in a random order, while thinking one is the coolest thing in the world. Origin is thought to be from the choreographed hardcore kids of Regina, SK, Canada.

1. cover face with left arm, swing right arm
2. alternate crossing over legs while moving arms in any sort of fashion
3. spin arms one over other, while stomping the ground and occasionally punch beside you

Slam Dancing

term used by heroin users for injecting via needle thus slamming it all at once and getting the greatest slam dance of a rush.

Bill chews his. Max snorts his. I slam dance mine. Aww, look at him slam dancing that brown rock.

Break dancing

A fo-sport for those who are not necessarily out of shape, but lack skills for other sports. Because it is a fo-sport, those who are capable at it do not consider themselves "jocks" rather rebels. Indeed, these people are rebels without a cause, and most of them in turn will fail at life.

Person 1: Man, Johnny wasn't looked really athletic, but he got cut from Basketball, Football, AND Baseball!

Person 2: I know. I heard he felt so bad, he got into Break Dancing.

Person 1: So that's why he think's he so cool!

slam dancing

A method of "dancing" to grunge and other muddier punk and metal, it involves the entire crowd pushing against each other whilst jumping, rather than moshing where only a few individuals participate. It is more powerful than a mosh because its hard to leave and if one person falls they can drag a large section of the crowd with them.

However there is less actual violence in a slam dancing crowd, and the occasional meathead in one can ruin it for eveyone.

Skanking in a mosh is either being way too confident for your own good or suidical.

"Dude there is a sign on the door of the club saying 'no moshing' that blows."

"so what man, get a bunch of people together and start slam dancing"
