A word used to induce a positive response or association in the person hearing or reading it. Commonly used to appeal to people's emotions rather than their reasoning, and thereby get them on your side.

Antonym: snarl word

something that a black person and other races can say, but a white dude cannot. the reason being is because the black man was a slave back in the day, and the white devil was a "cracka". Therefore, they have the right to say the word.

black guy: wut up cracka?
white guy: wut up nigga?
*black guy punches white guy for being racist*
black guy: don't EVER say the nigga again!
*black guy turns to his black friends and says wud up my
niggas?*

The n word is the oldest double standard ever.

white guy: he just called you the n word

word to your mother

Originally "word to the mother." Used by African Americans as a salutation. It means "Give due respect to the motherland from which we came." Can be used in the same context as "Keep it real." or, also, can be used to literally express respect to the motherland and African-American customs and traditions.

Man 1: I'll be seeing you man. Keep it real.
Man 2: Word to the mother.
Man 1: Word.
