back of the bus

the back of the bus is the best part of the bus, as many cool people like to chill and relax there, away from the annoying people that dont like them.

Back With the Milk

When someone who was once thought to be gone forever shows up again, often after several years.

This is a reference to the "dad went to the store to buy milk" trope. The punchline is that he abandons his family.

This is a subversion of that, meaning the dad finally comes back from the store after years of absence.
Person C has entered the chat

Person A: "Wait, you haven't been here since 2014, is it really you?"

Person B: "C is finally back with the milk."

Hym "Back to the turing test... Isn't it weird? All the spooky A.I. stuff going on? Robots moving on their own... Without human 'permission.' Writing and selling books... Isn't that a little weird? And spooky? I wonder what caused that... I mean..."

Still on the bird's back

A rural saying originating from Australia. To be "On the bird's back" essentially means being mid-transit; approaching a predetermined location, event, or gathering agreed upon by friends; To almost be ready for something.
Australians in particular use it as a euphemism to reduce swearing around children or foreigners who may take offence to typical Australian dialect, E.g., "Give me a second you whining cunt, I'm almost fucking there." is replaced by a simple "I'm still on the birds back mate".
Person 1: "Where the hell are you!?".
Person 2: "Still on the bird's back man".
Person 1: "Right, see you soon dude".

........

Person 1: "Honey I'm home! How's dinner going?"
Person 2: "Still on the birds back".
Person 1: *beats wife to the tune of monster mash*
