More commonly known as "graffiti" or "vandalism," public art is art...in public. However, the distinct difference is that public art has a meaning.
Person 1: Did you vandalize this?
Person 2: No, it's not vandalism. It's public art.

A euphemism for falsifying documents, particularly electronic documents through the use of photo editing software and word processing programs.
Mandy made a mistake on the paperwork she faxed to us, so in order to keep her from having to come back to the office, we did some arts and crafts on the documents and submitted them successfully.

Practiced by mainstream media, especially the Big 3 Cable News services, Fox, CNN, & MSNBC. Taking the truth and swaddling it in a tapestry of untruths and exaggerations to appeal to a certain demographic.
That story by Rachel Maddow was Informance Art at its finest, it made me think Republicans really do eat babies.
