Adjective - to commit to something or someone, only to later go back on your word without any communication whatsoever. Especially in the context of a school, where the entire administrative hallway might have promised to do something, only to later go back on their word without any communication whatsoever.

He asked Macy to prom and then pulled an Admin-Hall on her and didn't show up.
They promised to help start a coffee shop and then pulled an Admin-Hall and didn't follow through.

Adminsplaining: Like mansplaining but where a colleague (coincidentally often a man, but yes, not *always* because yes, not all men (sigh)) explains a thing you can do with a particular work app, whether you needed to know it or not and almost always regardless of whether you already knew about it or not.

"Hey, colleague, did you know that if you hold down cntrl when you click a link it opens in a new tab? "

"Gee, Gerry, thanks for adminsplaining that to me."

Hey, colleague, if you wear your swipe card on a lanyard then it'll always be there when you need it to get into the building.

The perceived entitlement or advantage one assumes when granted administrative powers or authority in a group, particularly in online forums or social media platforms. Often characterized by the ability to enforce rules or make decisions that favor oneself or one's viewpoints without accountability.
