Country Dyke

A phrase of endearment used to refer to rare and elusive Lesbians living/ working out in the country (as opposed to the ever frequent ‘city dyke.’) Used by Lesbians who might identify themselves, or used by other Lesbians to describe lesbians who don’t live in the city. It is considered rude to use the word "Dyke" (or in this case, country dyke) unless you self-identify as one.

While out of town visiting her parents, Jill was disheartened as she logged onto tinder as she knew she’d be unable to keep up with the amount of country dyke poon available.
