a hospital flip is a skateboarding trick. it's basically a half kickflip under shove it thing. all you gotta do is flick a little and turn your foot inward and you've got it. it's easy to do and not a lot of people really know how to do them (at least of the people I know) so you can easily give people a letter in S.K.A.T.E.
another thing to remember about this trick is the difference between itself and a Casper flip. while they do look seemingly identical, the main difference between the two is the fact that a hospital flip is all in the front foot. what I mean by this is that it only uses the front foot, while a Casper flip uses the "assistance" of your back foot to flip it over.

In no way is candy flipping guaranteed to be safe, but some people do it to find out what it's like, usually younger people do this combination and some call it an incredible time, others of course have a really bad time, as common sense would suggest, using process of elimination.
The other night a group of people must have been on a candy flip. I don't think they were capable of a conversation and may not be for some time.
