Sprawl and Brawl

A term used to describe a fighting style in the sport of mixed martial arts. A "sprawl and brawl" fighter's goal is to avoid takedowns, remain in a standing position and strike with his opponent. Therefore, he will try to avoid takedowns by sprawling and other defensive grappling moves.

The sprawl is employed when a grappler shoots a takedown aimed at the sprawl and brawl fighter's legs. The sprawl and brawl fighter shoots his legs back and positions himself on top of his opponent's frame to avoid the takedown.

The sprawl and brawl fighter then gains separation from his opponent and tries to strike or "brawl" with his opponent while standing.

The term sprawl and brawl owes much of its origin to the martial arts style termed "ground and pound" which has earlier origins in the sport.

Brain Fart

When you mean to do something really obvious but then you forget what you were doing and end up doing something something completely different. i.e, when you have a wrapper in one hand and food in the other, and throw away the food and try to eat the wrapper.

Brain Fart:
Person 1: Man, I had such a brain fart today.
Person 2: What did you do?
Person 1: I was holding food and a wrapper and threw away the food and tried to eat the wrapper.

Usually occurs in people who have recently watched JoJo's bizarre adventure and can't stop thinking about it. The symptoms are making JoJo references, posing, and talking non-stop about it. They usually can't do any work because there thinking about JoJo.

Jotaro: I think Sophia has JoJo brain rot.
Josuke: Yeah she keeps making JoJo references and threatening to take our kidneys if we don't watch JoJo's bizarre adventure.

diluting my brand

Overusing or continually stating another persons coined phrase results in diluting their brand. People who imitate others often succeed in diluting their brand. When someone's brand is diluted they often lose respect and often become very angry at the person who diluted their brand. Diluting someones brand is an unspeakable crime often punished by death.

Ray said," Willie is diluting my brand by constantly saying "doin work."

Many white people often dilute the brand of rappers by using their lyrics in everyday conversations.
