"Black Bombers", otherwise "Duraphet" popular drug from the early 60's through to the mid 80's, after which they phased out and replaced by illegally manufactured blues" and eventually "Sulphate amphetamine powder".
Next to "purple hearts" and "Dex's", Black Bombers were the best known and most widespread drugs used by a generation of young people, especially in the capital's nightlife.

I recall in the 60's buying "Black Bombers" to make me feel great and to keep me up all night.

Mostly kind of ridiculous and based on stereotypes, unless you don't appreciate Obama then that's just not appreciating black progress and you should get your black card taken away.
