Laurie M. is a bead freak because she knows more about beading and bead jewelry than anyone else.

Jesus freak

Someone who tries to be both part of an anti-social subculture (see punk for a good example) and a Christian, not realizing that you can't support the ideals used in punk and be a Jesus follower at the same time.

I'm very punk, but I can't have sex, do drugs, or listen to any rock n' roll music that doesn't praise the Lord because I'm a Jesus freak.

There are already a ton of definitions to this word but this one is missing entirely; 'freak' as in to wear some new duds or stylish clothing out with the intent of making a statement or being seen.

Yo, I can't wait to freak my new kicks at the party tonight.

I won't be able to freak that shirt anymore, I'm too damn fat for it.

I'm going to freak those new cufflinks at the Christmas party - they're off the chain.

choir freak

A female or male who are obsessed with the chorus or choir they are in, memorize all the songs faster than what seems humanly possible, randomly burst into song, absolutely love chorus camps where you sing for over 8 hours each day, and make the music they sing personal and filled with passion and emotion. Commonly found playing around with an instrument or looking over sheet music, these people put their heart and soul into what they do, and love every second of it.

1."Stop looking over that music and come eat your dinner!"
"But MOM, I HAVE to get the solo!!!!!!"
