hater bait

1. A creation such as a song that attempts to insult haters, but is such poor quality that it brings even more hate on itself.

2. A person who behaves in such a way (also known as a hater baiter).

The term sounds a little like "masturbate" which is no coincidence because ego and narcissism are where hater bait comes from.

1. Four minutes telling people they're just jealous, when the beat was crap and she couldn't even sing? That song was hater bait.

2. No, I'll criticize him if I want to. He deserves it: he's hater bait.

Men or women at clubs who are so boring or un-interesting in conversation that they're not worth the bother, talking to them. (Usually in groups of 2).

Guy1: Hey, having a good night?

Girl1: No.. I want to leave.

Guy 1 to Guy 2: They're dead bait, move along.

Guy2: Agreed.

hug-bait

The process of opening your arms a little bit when you see someone or saying good-byes to bait them into giving you a hug. Usually this is done with the elbows out but hands not all the way spread, so that the hug-baiter is not embarrassed about a rejection.

Big John was hug-baiting me. He just wants to press his body against me.

Chef Ramsey is a perfect hug-baiter. He hugs everyone so he can feel up the hot ones without anyone wondering.
