Glowl

A glowl is a glow in the dark owl. The phrase can be used to describe anything that shines, that glows or that lights up in the dark. A glowl can also be used to describe an angry emotion for both animals, humans and spirits in between

example: Me: Can you see that glowl? It's looking straight at me. Friend: Oh yes, very shiny indeed!
OR
example: Me: Why are you being so glowl with me today? Friend: Oh sorry, I am in a bit of a glowl mood

Gowl

Irish slang from Limerick, Ireland. Can be used in a variety of ways. Can mean someone is not a nice person or can mean someone is a joker/messer.

For someone who isn't nice you might say "He/she is some Gowl!"

If someone is lying/joking with you, you might say "you're some gowl" or "go away You gowl"

Popular way of writing it is - "G🦉"
