Cowboy Coffee

Making a great cup of coffee in the backcountry is easy when you prepare it the way cowboys have done for over a century. Simply pour the coffee grounds into a cup of hot water and stir. Most of the coffee will dissolve in the water. The remaining grains are then sifted through the front teeth. This is also a great solution for poor people who cannot affort a $5 cup of joe from Starbucks.

"That homeless guy must have just had a cup of cowboy coffee. His teeth are full of coffee grounds!"

Turkish Coffee

Turkish coffee (also referred as Greek or Arabic Coffee) is coffee that is prepared in a specific way. It's pretty dark and thick, and tastes more like espresso, served with water for some health-related reason. It is common throughout the Middle East, North Africa and Balkan countries. It's considered a traditional beverage served in Turkish, Greek, Balkan and Arabic restaurants around the world.

Surprisingly enough, the best Turkish coffee I've ever had was in a Turkish restaurant in Berlin rather than anywhere in Turkey.

That quick sudden urge, when you have been sitting in all day drinking coffee to go to the toilet. Usually hits you just when you really don't need it, like in the middle of a film or game.

Caffe Pergolesi

A hot spot for hipsters. Affectionately called "pergs", "pergos", or "Doctor Millers". Usually inhabited by hippies and trendily dressed kids who ride bikes and are usually seen with a cigarette in hand, along with some form of tea, Italian soda, or coffee. Most of the teen population doesn't go to public school, either is Independent studies, homeschooled, charter school, or just isn't in the system for school. People spend hours sitting in this place feeling cool with their books, laptops, or newspapers, iPods blasting bands like the Blood Brothers, Animal Collective, Neutral Milk Hotel, Sheena, CocoRosie, and Blonde Redhead.
Everyone knows everyone, and everyone else is better than you.

Hey, after the show you want to coffee at Caffe Pergolesi? I hear *insert local band* is playing tonight.

When skiing, a coffee shop is when any number of people stop in the middle (ie, NOT on the edges) of a course.

I came around the turn and there was a coffee shop in the middle of the trail!
