Get the Mac partymug. A term for when someone with relative popularity uses an announcement of a negative occurrence to advertise or promote merchandise or creations, making the announcement seem less sincere. Can be seen as a form of guilt-tripping. Coined after a Roblox game developer added Hurricane Party to the name of their game and begged for players while announcing they were about to be struck by a hurricane.
Description for Galaxy, a Roblox game with 200 active players, as of August 29th, 2021: Help, I am in the direct path of a category 4 hurricane, it is too late to escape. Please honor me by playing my game once in your life.

Typical behaviors of people that sport the party ramp include: heavy drinking, schmoozing women, and being a complete dumbass.
