This joke shows their love for loli characters, reinforcing their dislike of adults' appearance by comparing them to old witches. This joke mainly became popular among the Blue Archive (game) community and slowly spread to other gacha-game communities (e.g. Azur Lane).
"Fuck, they added another hag to {gacha-game}, I'll save up my {in-game currency} for the next banner..."
