Tweet gulags were initially believed to only be concentrated in Russia, but when Twitter added a feature to show the location a user is based in, it was revealed that a mass amount of political accounts (almost exclusively spreading pro-Israel and far-right conspiracy content) were based in Israel. People posting right-wing, conspiratorial, Zionist or pro Russia content online are frequently accused of being accounts operated in Tweet gulags.
