Descended from reddit during the reddit blackout on June 11 (last month ago) and project hunt, a tech reviews website. While most complaints from reddit often come from the fact of what claimed "overshadowing others" and porn. This isn't exactly the cases as just like most of the reddit alternatives also were and despite the fact .io domain doesn't allow porn and thus the site is fine without porn as doing so might be a somewhat risky task for its community and site.
There are currently couple of 3rd party apps available (Pulse for Squabbles, Tiff, and Calisco) with others about to come out (Squarrel, Splash, Haika, etc.).
