Shippensburg is also home to Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, one of 14 universities of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. The University is known for its excellent Education, Psychology, Business, and Communications Programs. Although semi-rural they're are plenty of things to do in Shippensburg (hint: its not hard to find a party). At the end of the Academic Year there is an Annual Block Party as well. Also, Go Raiders!
