Jonkeroo

A less-known, alternative word for man's girlfriend, shawty or main piece. It is a derivative of the more commonly used term jaunt. Jonkeroo is sometimes used in place of jaunt when the relationship status is unknown.

Tyrone: Aye how's your jonkeroo been doin'?

Jongleur

Medieval Jongleurs: The Jongleurs can be described as a court attendant or other people such as a traveler who, for hire, recited or sang verses and performed other acts for the entertainment of the audience including that of a conjuror or a juggler. Jongleur is the French word for a juggler. Often the Jongleurs role was to assist the Troubadours or Minstrels. The Jongleurs were often collaborators or assistants of Medieval Troubadours or Minstrels. Jongleurs gained a reputation of itinerant entertainers of Medieval France and in Norman England where many were deemed to be vagabonds and untrustworthy. Eventually, this reputation caused Jongleurs to be outlawed.

The Jongleurs put on a great show, meanwhile, their accomplices mingled with the audience to pick pockets and engage in other grifting.
