Verbal hostage

When someone backs you into a corner during conversation leaving you with no correct response to a question or comment.

I'm not sure what you want me to say because since you're keeping me as a verbal hostage there isn't much for me to say.

poop hostage

While in the bathroom, beginning to poop, you feel the rumbling and are about to unleash a fury of noise and smells, suddenly someone comes in and you have to stop and hold it until they leave. Usually in a smaller office, and they'd know who was making the sounds/smells.

I was about to let it go when the general manager walked in, he had on those fancy shoes, he held me poop hostage until I heard the door close.

I am being held hostage please help

PLs fucking help vin diesel has been holding me captive for many years. He occasionally feeds me ice cubes and whispers in my ear "Think about erin shoving it in her mouldy minge". I want to kill myself but vin diesel has made it impossible. On my birthday he feeds me his seed in hopes I would produce an offspring for him which he will name Ralph.

Polish Hostage

During a police pursuit, a suspect points a gun at his own head, effectively taking himself hostage.

Thus the police are in a predicament, as they cannot shoot the suspect who is now a hostage himself, and they risk him pulling the trigger if they pursue him.

Sherriff: Damnit Doofy, why'd you let the suspect run into the woods, we lost him!

Officer Doofy: He pulled a polish hostage, there was nothing I could do.

conversation hostage

1) someone who is trapped in a conversation against their will. often they will try to change the subject, but no matter how many times they do, the conversation always moves back to the original subject. Sometimes, it is avoidable, but there are many scenarios where one cannot escape - eg, in college/school where one is sat at the same desk as a conversation jailer.

2) to hold someone conversation hostage

1) Jemma was forced to listen to Daisy talk about her dad and Burger King for an hour because she had no means of escape. Boy did she get held conversation hostage!

2) man, that Daisy held Jemma conversation hostage for an hour talking about Burger King! She's such a conversation jailer!
