When someone hates and/or is afraid of gay people. A term that is true and has real meaning, but is also often used incorrectly so the accuser can use it to their advantage, bitch and whine when someone dislikes them, or because they're really ignorant and stupid.
I know of a gay guy I don't like because he's arrogant, inconsiderate, and selfish. If he knew what I think of him, he'd accuse me of having homophobia.

Get the homophobia mug.
White Catholic Republican Guy: Oh gee willickers! They're coming to rearrange our furniture against our (and god's) will!
Homosexual man: Don't worry, it'll look kerfabulous when I'm done. Maybe you should calm down with your homophobia, dear.

A couple of centuries ago the only people allowed to read were members of the priesthood. Obviously they enjoyed reading so much that they wanted to keep it to themselves. They feel the same way about homosexuality.
In modern day speech the word 'gay' has become a synonym for 'stupid' and 'disgusting'. While some label this as a form of homophobia, others find it proof that there's still hope for the MTV generation.

A word used to refer to the the so called fear or hatred of homosexuals. It is however used incorrectly, the expression is not a fear, it is an ignorance, a belief system yet 'phobia' suggests one would be frightened or scared.
All in all homophobia is a mass destructor and deserves to be abolished from society.
