honest to blog

A seldom used phrase that hipsters can use to add to the credibility of a statement or check the credibility of another person's statement.
It is a play on the phrase "Honest to god" that refers to the fact that blogs have been reputed as fact checkers in recent years.

Example 1 -
I just avoided a crash on my way to work, honest to blog that was the closest I've ever come to death.

Example 2 -
Person 1: "I just got my second face lift in three years."
Person 2: "Honest to blog?"
Person 1: "Yea."

Honest-Decent

adjective

1) Truthful and/or sincere

2) No bullshit

Typically said in the phrase: “Let’s be honest-decent,” when either agreeing with a statement someone else had just made, or preceeding a statement you are about to make.

honest bucker

A bull riding term used to describe a bull that bucks the same way everytime he comes out of the chute. The bull doesn't throw any dirty tricks your way. Usually honest buckers are the bulls the riders most like to draw.

Man, I am gonna score high this ride. The bull I drew is a real honest bucker.
