Eathen

Eathen is a smart guy. He is kind and he knows just how to tease a girls heart. At times he can be a bit of a flirt but he always means the best. Eathens are tall and usually tend to smell good. His kind words will attract you to him and all your friends will love him too. If you ever date an Eathen be carful because you will never want to leave his arms and end up spending hours on your phone just so you can talk to him. He is a very handsome guy and you will fall in love with him instantly. When you first meet him he will try to push you away but it’s because he is a shy and caring guy. Take care of him and he will take care of you. Be yourself around him, Eathen will always go for the girl who isn’t faking her personality. If you ever have an eathen in your life cherish him because you will need him to live as much as you need air to breathe.

Empath

Empath: A person who is capable of feeling the emotions of others despite the fact that they themselves are not going through the same situation.

Empath: The root of the word comes from Empathy. Jane has empathy for Joe as he mourns the loss of his father. Jane may have lost her father in the past but not recently. She is capable of feeling what Joe is feeling. She is Empathetic. Jane is an Empath.

Empathy

Or Empathetic Understanding, is the ability to intuit the emotional experiencing of another because one has, at one point or another, experienced the same thing oneself.

Sympathy is thinking about someone, but empathy is actually "Knowing" the emotion the person is experiencing, or going through.... having gone though the same emotion oneself.

When I see a fat child, being made fun of, I "know" how he or she is feeling, because I felt the exact same emotion when I was young - my "knowing" is empathy.

When I see a parent pulling a little child who's legs are exhausted, and the child is crying with pain, I "know" what that child is experiencing. I experience empathy for that child.
