French word to define the stereotype of a 20-50 years old , without disctinct social class , who loves to eat , drink ( Pastis , Picard , and beers with questionnable names mostly ), playing petanque and sing French songs from the 80s and 90s . Beauf's favorite haircut is the mullet , and they tend to drive in a Citroen C15 or a tuned Peugeot 205 . He's not really smart and can rant a lot sometimes , but you're nice with him , he can invite you in his favorite bar and maybe pay some rounds.
